Servicing NYC and Long Island
Summer at the South 9th Street group home is filled with fun, educational, and skills-building activities. With meticulous person-centered planning, the staff help individuals fill their free time with a variety of projects and outings tailored to their individual interests and needs.
Some young ladies spend time shopping for new shoes, glasses, and clothing, while others are busy with recreational crafts. Some have scheduled medical appointments, and others are planning to visit family members over the summer.
The individuals enjoy reading books outside, playing Boggle together, and honing their creativity by baking and creating Succos crafts. As always, the goal of South 9th is to empower each individual by building their specific abilities and skills and building a quality lifestyle.
