OPWDD is the name commonly used to refer to New York State’s Medicaid-funded programthat services New Yorkers diagnosed with developmental disabilities. OPWDD providesservices through nonprofit agencies, like Hamaspik.
The Hamaspik OPWDD program provides waiver services to individuals with a variety of conditions, including intellectual disabilities, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, autism spectrumdisorders, and other neurological impairments.
